hey all, ive just heard danny byrd - red mist VIP n hospitalitys new album release 'Sick Music', the original is beig rinsed by all radio stations atm so ive come to really like the track, although there are better on byrds album, 'supersized'.
However i think the VIP is actually better...

which brings me to the point of he thread, whats your thoughts on VIP's? ie, do you normally prefer the originals/best artist to create VIP's/best ever VIP...and so forth

Theres probably about 10,000,000,000,000,000,000.... threads about this subject, have a look in the search bar.
To answer ur question tho, it depends on the tune and how good the VIP is.
Dont think you can make a generalization about it.
Some and good, some are just a shitty reshuffle of samples to make the tune sound more fresh.

The VIP is being battered by Radio 1 atm. Even Jo Wiley and Edith Bowman have jumped on the bandwagon.

imo VIPs should only be passed around the top DJs making them exclusive, everyone was going nuts for tunes like Artisan VIP before they decided to release it. People like Clipz who make VIPS of just bout every one of his tunes is just milking it for all they are worth.
