I know this has been done to death but I was reading a thread on dubstep forum and someone explained that WAVs are infact better than Vinyl for sound quality. Which came as a bit of shock to me but after the guy explained it I realised he was right.

Heres the original post if anyones intrested I found it really intresting:

Fair do's bruv, I'm just saying that for me personally, it's all about teh vinyl

I find Serato Dj's to be a pain in the arse to dj after. All that faffing about plugging out shit or taking forver plugging it in and getting in the way

In the time it takes to set up a Serato or Traktor box you you could've just played 3 or 4 tunes on wax

I know what you mean, also it may feel slightly like your spinning records but in actuall fact you dont have the record you still only own the mp3/wav of that song. Part of the reason I spin in vinyl is because I like collecting them. It might be more expensive but I'd much rather pay £6 for a fresh piece of vinyl or in some cases £20+ on a vinyl and have it in my collection that pay £1.30 or whatever for a some binary coding on a computer.

    Exactly

With wax you can see the grooves etc. Looking at it on a laptop screen is as souless as Jeremey Kyle

Plus, the warm crunch you get on vinyl you dont get through two timecoded bits of wank and a virus infested laptop
