Somehow I stumbled across this page yesterday: http://www.discogs.com/release/11067

I had forgotten about this release and so I dug it out of my closet and listened to all the sides again.

Wow! What a great release and a great collection of popular tracks from the time. I'm so very much glad I paid $44.99 for this and I'm glad I bought all the DnB records from that time period. DnB doesn't sound anything like this release anymore save for the odd digital release. This perticular release seems like the perfect time capsule from when DnB was all I could think about.

:boom:

i was really happy when i tracked down a copy of this a couple years ago. Now they went ahead and repressed it... At least the repress doesnt come in the really cool box.

Spectacular LP, they dont make em like this anymore.

One of the best from the Renegade crew, Horns 2000 was always the tune which got me going it was haunting but so heavy at the same time. Also the remix of 'The Craft' by Universal Project is a great release, not sure if it's your thing 1992 but still worth a listen.

Interesting. I never knew this: http://www.discogs.com/release/86209 existed. I only remember RH releasing double packs and albums during this time period. Nope, can't say I ever heard this. The original on the Aftermath album was very good.

It came out a while ago I'm pretty sure you can still pick it up, in fact yes you can check out the following link it was the flip to Danger Chamber which was also rough as hell!! I've gone into alot of second hand record shops recentley & they seem to have alot of the double packs like you mentioned, I liked the way they were focused on one artist over 4 tracks. I thought the quality of music & presentation of each release was such a high standard it set them apart from the rest.
Their still going strong but I'm finding that alot of their releases are very similar sounding at the moment & can become samey.

Starting with the Earth EP and forward they went for that really dark vibeless boring sound which was a complete turn off. The Earth EP was the very last RH release I bought. I really shouldn't have even bought that but I sort of liked that Dylan track because I heard him play it in a shitty philly club.

I bought that LP just for Bodycount, that track is so clinical :not_worth

I bought it for Dylan's Spasm which probably should have been called Second Phase "Mentasm (Dylan Remix)." Dylan did a few remixes of classic 1991-1992-1993 tracks, he was very good at that, he was like the Naughty Naughty of the early 2000s.

Check out his remix of Gridloks - Relapse which came out on Sudden Def a while back.

Now why can't they repress the amen mix of "Dead by dawn" by Future Forces? I love that track.

I'm pretty sure the Renegade crew will remix the track sometime soon as they seem to doing the back catalogue in stages & I've actually been really impresssed by the new artists work on updating the tracks. I would love to see a Black Sun Empire remix of Dead By Dawn OMFG!!
