Right... after the stupid debate on my DAW is better than yours because of ignorant argument a,b & c it got me thinking...

basicly i started out in FL, so know it pretty well... but i didn't like its workflow and such, but i did like some of the elements i made with it... sooooooo

is there a way i could, for example, get Sytrus to work in ableton? tried copying the .dll file to my VST folder (like normal vst) but to no avail?

nope, the plugins included with fruity are versions made to be included with the FL package and aren't standalone. however, IL has released many of the plugins from fruity as standalone versions, to be sold separately from FL. You have standalone versions from slicex and toxic biohazard for instance, although I'm not sure whether there's a sytrus standalone version. check the IL website I say!

I tried the same thing once, and of course it didn't work. You know thats a sign of good programing.
