    Yes family.

It's been a while so I thought I'd update you on the movings and shakings of Urban Essence.
If you don't know already, we like to showcase electronic music of a deeper nature across the spectrum,
with a particular penchant for drum & bass, deep house and 2-step.

We've got a lot of new articles, interviews, reviews and previews on the site that should interest you lot.

Here's some of our favourite pieces so far:

A lovely review of Nether's Moon Dub EP on Space Cadets
An extensive review of the Blood Pressure LP on Med School
SPOTLIGHT: A nice little interview with bass-music rising star Troy Gunner
SPOTLIGHT: Little chat with new autonomic label The Crescent

Our mix series is coming along nicely too. If you haven't already checked it out, you can find it here:

Volume One - An ambient-microfunk journey from Tiran
Volume Two - An autonomic-infused offering from DNBForum's very own Jack Smith
Volume Three - A pumping 4x4 mix of deep and tribal house from Tiran

Keep an eye out for Volume Four - mixed by the forum's very own Obey, as well as some bigger names coming very soon!

In other news, we've recently teamed up with Soundium.net to provide reviews for their d&b and dubstep music store.
You can read more about it, as well as reading the review we did of the recent Fokuz Recordings 2-CD Compilation HERE.

We've also recently started the Urban Essence YouTube channel, which offers a window into the sounds of the site, covering all styles.

Check it out, follow us and subscribe for more of the good stuff! Thanks for the support.
