I know that. That doesn´t change the fact that the UK sells cryptographic components, small arms ammunition and lasers to Argentina altho they are threatening the UK to take the Falklands back.

So, the foreign minister rules out a "military option"..it´s probably not worth a penny..whatever he says. Politicians lie anyway.

He´s not the boss, that lady is.

But I don´t think there will be a war. Maybe an exchange of bullets, a couple of rockets on rocks, nothing else. I don´t think there will happen anything besides having a rant tho tbh.

Still, I wouldn´t sell them this stuff anyway. And if I look to that article again, I´m not the only one.

Actually, the news is not old.

The procedure, yes. That´s indeed old.

That doesn´t make it any better.

The UK itself is a repressive state, the illusion of democracy is carefully constructed to keep dissent to a minimum, but the truth is that our MPs do the bidding of the CEO's who pay their pensions, there is no democracy when statutes of law can be bought and sold at the whim of anyone who has some cash to spend and an opportunity to make more.

We ally ourselves with a nation which has countless prison camps around the world, holding prisoners without charge, torturing and dehumanizing people in the name of freedom and democracy, this makes the UK not just a silent partner to repression, but a willing participant in fascism, the end justifies the means, as they say.
