UK DnB Head moving to LA

Ezy people. I'm a DnB head from the UK London moving to LA. I have a full time job but on the side I DJ at a couple of small clubs and run my own DnB night called RESOURCE (www.myspace.com/resourcednb). We have also played in Thailand Full Moon Parties as well.

I'm giving it all up to move to LA and would like to continue something similar in terms of DnB. I don't know anyone in LA so it would be great if some like minded people can tell me whats happening in the scene there.

Also LA being a huge place...where would a dnb head live. Ideally I would like somewhere where there are a few local shops, restaurants and bars with in walking distance. My daily journey would be to north downtown area.

Quite a few guys in N. Hollywood. Check out the Bassrush and Almost Famous crews, they hold some big ass parties in LA. Shouldn't really be saying this but, check out www.dogsonacid.com, it has a lot of LA heads as members, plus plenty of event listings and photo galleries (y)
