So we've been using UAD 2 plugins for quite a while now and absolutely love them. Have most plugins installed at Audio Animals and just wondering what other people make of them. We've done a lot of comparing to the analogue equivalent and we feel they are near perfect. Lose some analogue characteristics but all in all are very good if not identical. Which are your favorites?

played with the 1176LN, it was a heavy sound, but didnt have 'that' sound which the 1176 is all about for me personally, not tried much else, i'm not a big fan of emulations (although probly havent given them a fair chance), played with the API2500 from waves aswell a while ago, and as awsome as it is, it still just left me wishing i had the real deal, which i had already had the pleasure of working with...i'm sure if i'd have done it the other way round i'd have paid out for the plugin lol

From a purely digital perspective, they are fantastic plugins however - any of those you recomend loading up in particular? theres a few names there that I know but havent worked with the hardware versions, so i might be less jaded in my appriciation of them :flame:
