The wub-wub-wub bass is called LFO Bass, because an LFO controller is assigned to the filter cutoff, as heard in AI - Desperado

Then there the Fart Bass, a triangle wave with some high resonance, heard in Zen - Turnstyle (Baron RMX)

The Reverse Bass can be heard in Dead Dred - Dred Bass. Its a standard 808 bass, but reversed to give it a wub sound

The Boom Bass is actually a timestretched and pitched up 303 kick sample, heard in Adam F - Circles

The Reese Bass was first created by Kevin Reese Saunderson, where it takes its name from. Its usually based on a triangle or square wave bass, with one of the oscillators detuned and heavily distorted/phased. You can hear a good example of a reese in Tech Itch - Elevation

The Muffled Bass or Rumble Bass is a reese passed through a low pass filter, to give it a distance muffled feel. You can hear it best in Renegade - Terrorist

These are the basics afaik. I'll post more if I think of any.

    heheh...

Actually, I do love some of the older clownstep (G-Dub Deliverance EP, earlier Baron, Twisted, Hazard etc.) but it really is wearin a bit thin now (clipz, newer twisted individual etc.).

I do have a soft-spot for DJ Spice at the moment, though...:D
