    Anyone ever kept turtles as pets? Do they smell, are they hard work? Bout to do some research as my mums mate is giving us his breeding pair, cant wait!!!

    One of my mates had a pet turtle once and one afternoon it went missing he was hunting about for it for hours. Turned out the local loon had nicked it out of his back garden. We spotted the local loon up top park taking a hammer and chisel to it didnt break it though.

    My mate had a pair, seemed alright to me, dont really have to play with it hahaha

    I think you should name it Dave. Dave is the best name for any pet.

    Also hearing turtles have sex is a scary experience on its own proper screeching grumbling little angry fuckers they are

    my dad used to have a tortoise, quite a few ppl in post-war britain did as they were cheap, but it used to wonder out the garden alot but they painted the house number on it's shell so wud get returned

    also my dad's mate once threw into next door's garden and broke the greenhouse :lol:

    keeping turtles is absolutely unheared of here. you're honestly more likely to find someone with a pet snake than a turtle.

    and boy theyre fun to play with when youre off chops :teeth:
