I just went to a show recently with a dj incorporating elements of turntablism into her set, and I have to say wow, recently I've been tryin to step up my scratching game because it adds a nice arsenal to my bag of tricks , how do yall feel about this and if possible what are some sick mixes you can share and help me in my attempts to murder people in an audio stand point , DnB fam help a brother out :gang_bang
 
I have been trying this recently too.
It's hard though.
All I can say is make use of tutorial dvd's like q bert's ones.
And of course teh internet.

Shortee is cool.

Hype was excellent back in the day (DMC Champion). Try his Jungle Massive cd (1998) or his Dnb Essentials 3CD pack for scratching.
 
Wobbie yes you hit it right now the head mate , she is amazing techincally but i don't dig her sound selection , but man she blow my mind with her skills man for real it kinda makes up for the cheesy ol school synth , no hate at all . she worked it like a dutch hooker . thx for the help yall i'll be on the 1's and 2's till I get it right . respect~

Hype's 1st dnb essentials CD should be stayed away from

He scratches on Fabric too, I only think in Andy C's tho
 
many principles of turntablism are slightly pointless to dnb. scratching can work but has to be done really well to not turn a crowd off. hype might be quality, but the best scratcher over dnb i saw live was marky, he just fucking went for it, and that's how you do it. check some dj craze vids as well
