Basicly i'm torn between the choice of getting some stanton str8-150's or some 1210's. Whats peoples views on this??

I wouldn't bother going anywhere near Stanton's, Technics are a much sturdier Turntable...

The 8-150 is sturdier than 1210s...

Still, I'd got for 1210s because they are the standard and you'll be playing them in clubs, if and ever. Better resale value.

Me, I have PDXs just to be different.

1210s, simply because they're just more universal at home and in clubland.

I suppose my input is invalid seeing as I haven't had the chance to play on the 8-150's. But in general tho Stanton decks are rubbish compared to Technics...

i have pdx d3's fukin love em, i like them better than technics mainly as the pitch control is a lot tighter, finer and responsive, also i find tracking is better... but thats just me.

i got my deks cheap but if i was paying full wak id probably go for technics as its whats used in most clubs.

They're excellent but not something I'd suggest unless you know how to play Technics well because the difference is like between a motorbike and a sports car. Go well but in a different way.
