Since we are nearly reaching the end of 09 I was wondering what peoples thought were on the best tune of the year. I know we still have a couple of months left but there have been a few sick releases this year.

I think mine is Isis by Break. That tune makes me grin like a fat kid given a McDonalds voucher. Too fucking good.

    Anyone else?

There's been SO much good music this year. Scene is very healthy atm.

If i had to pick one tune it would "heavyweight" but the best 12" for me so far is:

    METH081 Spectrasoul - Guardian / Four Points

For me its the new minimal genre that d bridge an the instra:mental crew have been pushin, its a wicked style of dnb that feels like its only come into its own this year.
Otherwise, ide have to go with the majority here, heavyweight is deffo an instant classic, and spectrasoul have been hard at work, an its paid off nicely!

I'd flip that and go for:

SPECTRASOUL, Taken / Organiser (Ramadanman Mix)

That taken tune has THE heaviest bass... the end. It just destroys every track its mixed into!!!

Alsoo Rockwell-underpass......such a sick tune. Love all the glitchy noises going on. Really talented producer. One to watch out for
