k, i know its a bit early to start this thread, but i still wanna hear sum oppinions what people are gonna vote for the "2003 tune of the year", i know its hard to decide... but ill start this thread of by saying bullet-time gets my vote, i know sum of u think its too repetetive, but it gets my vote by a long shot!

BC UK! :slayer: cant wait to hear what these boys have lined-up for 2004 :BOH:

'Vault' by Pendulum, for originality and dancefloor impact (plus blind hometown loyalty)

Totally obvious anthem I know, but there you go.

I could never pick just one. After scanning through all the mixes that I recorded this year, the following 12's come to mind (in relative release order):

Fierce & Cause 4 Concern - Carrier / Burmuda
Cause 4 Concern - Soul (Matrix & Fierce Remix) / Bedhead
E-Sassin - Secular Motion EP
Kiko - Ronin / Passport
Gridlok - Horizon / The Search
ICR - Rock The Sky / Stolen Symmetry
Illformants - The Bizarre / Godspot
Teebee - Life Continue / Tech G
Bad Company - Grunge 3 (Kaos, Karl K & Jae Kennedy Remix) / Mass Hysteria (Hive Remix)
Telemetrik - Monochrome / Nova
Noisia - Silcon / Tomahawk (Feat. Mayhem)
Sarah Rebdauh - Staticky (Klute Remix) / Polar - Turtleneck (Klute Remix)

Best LP would probably be Ed Rush & Optical - The Original Dr. Shade (even though I didn't like half of the tracks). It was a pretty average year so far as LPs go.

Most consistent producer would be Gridlok. Loads of quality releases on a bunch of labels. I think I spent more money on him than anyone else this year.

Some of my faves from the year:

Klute - Take A Breath
Breakage - So Vain
D Kay & Lee - Manipulate The Universe
Loxy & Keaton - Judgement Night
Paradox & Alaska - Shinjuku
Myster Mason - Ruff Rugged & Raw

Probably Take A Breath or So Vain, 2 classic tunes that would work on any dancefloor yet got completely ignored by a lot of DJs

So many good tunes this year!

Vault places highly in mine.

When I first heard that at The End, oh my gosh! Big up teh Ed Rush for coming with it first!

I'd say Hive 'Neo' - film score production, suspenseful arrangement, and devastating subs.

And, as a bonus, a stateside producer! Big up Hive!

I'm torn.. Back 2 U Is my favorite tune of the year...but I'd have to say NEO is tune of the year...nothing quite wrecked floors like it IMO...even vault...

As far as LPs....(cough, cough), Lie, Cheat & Steal...Klute is da man..

:who_wants

maaaan, loads to choose from this year.

vault, neo, signal, 6ft ditch, reactor, maaaan i could go on forever, how about a list of stuff like

Producer of the year
Record of the year
Label of the year
LP of the year
EP of the year
Pendulum release of the year
