Trying to make a noise in reason

More out of interest than anything else. I've noticed a lot of new dnb tunes are featuring a sort of distorted vocal noise. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CeTgnxsFc-A&feature=channel_page there's something like it in that tune, hope you see what I mean.

As I said there's a lot of tunes with variations of it at the moment, so it's not something I'll be looking to put in tunes. Just can't figure out how it's done. Is it an actual vocal distorted or a synth noise?

sounds like vocal with bitcrusher/distortion/stretch. dont think reason has a bitcrusher though does it?
