Med School break down more boundaries by unearthing another glittering new talent for the unsuspecting d&b fraternity. Finland's Trisector might be new to the d&b circuit, but as one half of breakbeat duo Takomo he's no stranger to music production having caught the attention of labels like Botchit and DJ heavyweights such as Tayo and Annie Nightingale. In the last 12 months he has turned his attention back to his first love and now Trisector’s d&b production is as calculated as the mathematical theorem from which he gets his name.

His debut release demonstrates incisive musical dexterity and versatility. The beautiful "Morning Rain" will already be familiar to those who tuned in to the London Elektricity Essential Mix last month, a proper oldschool Good Looking dancefloor rollout with scintillating atmospherics, wicked drum syncopation and deadly sub. The tech-driven sound of "Structured Light" provides the perfect accompaniment on the flipside with its neuro persuasions, growling synthwork and bleepy hook.

As if that wasn't enough, Trisector enrols the help of fellow countryman Naraka for the bass-heavy download-only track "Blindspot", adding an ingenious third dimension when the download version arrives early in 2009.
