Tribal percussion

Hello guys,

I am looking for some tips or classical patterns for percussion in dnb.
Anyone have succeded in making great percussion for a dnb beat? I am talking about those old school conga or bongo loop that give a tribal feel to the break...

Sure, I know I have more obvious examples but I can't remember them. These ones aren't that bad though:

Get some nice tribal/latin house percussion loops and stretch them to match your tracks bpm.

On Weird Vibes, it's like 80% about the break on the top. The rest is some resonant sampled/synthesized hits (or just the same hit playing different notes) underneath.

Trying slicing whatever break you like and layer some resonant, but still short drum hits under them. Tbh even enveloped sine waves w/ fast pitch bend can act as a fake bongo when layered with some other hits that provide the midrange/high end crack.

EDIT: or then find breaks/loops that include hand drums just like Lizardo said.
