When you try and drag a track to a deck, does the deck say "Deck Locked"? If so, stop your timecode, take the needle off and try dragging into the deck again. Then start the record.
Traktor has an option not to load into a playing deck, which I find useful when im stoned and playing 3 decks. Stops me being a dumbass! lol.
The first link I supplied is a dubspot walkthrough on how to setup the audio10 and traktor from scratch. I urge you to follow it from start to finish to give you a good grounding in the software. We all want to dive in and play, but we end up having issues like this which stop us in our tracks becuase we dont know the intricacies of the software.
Another thing I urge you to do is setup a proper tagging and library system for your tunes from the get-go. Get it nailed down now and you wont have the massive headache of trying to sort a huge library of shit later down the road.
I hate djs that use dvs . When you play after them you have to re wire everything. If you like the feel of vinyl, spin the real stuff. if you prefer digital use CDjs !
Is the software a legal copy?
Yeh it is, cant believe noone has had this problem before as far as I can tell from researching. The songs drag and drop fine when i have dont have the live input turned on
I dont have tsp infront of me, but shouldnt that be set to scratch mode, not live input?
you have to put the 'out' from the traktor box into the line in, and the phonos from the decks go into the 'in' on the box...
