Total fail question, but I'm considering using a tracker to make a few beats just to see what's up with them and I have absolutely no idea where to begin. Does anyone have any links or personal tips to start me off?

modplug tracker is free and awesome. perhaps they have tutorials for it on youtube, i dont know, but the fun part about trackers is that the music is distributed in source format with all the samples and notation and so forth, so you can study the work of songs you like. i learnt lots of cool stuff studying psidream mods.
