Generally try and start with whatever's heaviest in my box at the time if I'm playing after someone else.

I always start with something on the funky side, depends on what sort of mood i'm in though.

Currently working on having something a little different e.g. like a slowed down gabba tune. Want to work with a human beatboxer to kick a set off with me doing some scratch/juggle routine.

It depends on the night, the time of my set and who played before me. But I often like to put on some hip hop, dub, or rare groove first and then mix out of it into some drum and bass, which most people don't expect.
