Here's one thing that's getting my goat right now:
Too many junglists are against variety!

This is really getting on my tits cos when new things come out like the Brazillian shit or the swingbeat or the turntablism or whatever there's just a ton of moaning.
Dunno about anyone else but I want to hear as many styles as possible at any time, some funky shit some breaky shit some hitech shit some soulful shit, all sorts of stuff.

Also what happened to the real deep dark 1993 style? I really want that stuff to make a comeback, it was kinda hard and chilled at the same time, amazing music!

Yeah big up the variation, if it all goes very very samey, then we loose one of the main benefits of a scene like we have at the moment, the abililty to surprise and come up with proper new ideas.
 
That's wot makes drum n bass for me, the variety of styles and techniques possible. I've got a huge amount of respect for producers/djs who come up with something different, keeps people on their toes if ya know wot I mean.
