Looking for legendary stuff here. I'm new to drum and bass, so I hope my contribution here isn't seen as terribly juvenile, but my top three might be:

Fanu - Daylightless
DJ Hidden - The Later After
Black Sun Empire - Lights & Wires (toss-up though... could also be From The Shadows)

Kind of looking for recommendations here, if DnBforum is feeling like throwing a genuine noob some good information?

From the shadows is your (possibly) favourite BSE album?

anyway...

1. Noisia - split the atom
2. Phace - Psycho
3. Calyx & Teebee - Anatomy

For me these are the archetypal D&B albums:

Ed Rush, Optical, Trace & Nico - Torque
Alix Perez - 1984

Nothing else in D&B really comes close for me 'journey wise' so:

Madvillain - Madvillainy

This thread is labelled as multi-genre. Soooo....

1. Slim Shady LP
2. Illmatic
3. 2001

Got into dnb a bit later than many on here but my three all-time favourites are:

1. Break - Resistance
2. Logistics - Crash Bang Wallop
3. And I can't decide between Subwave - Subwave, Breakage - Foundation, Calibre - Even If and Siren - Broken Silence.

Hahaha this is impossible. Ed Rush & Optical - Wormhole, Dillinja - Cybotron, and High Contrast - True Colours are great picks. Given the intent of the thread though I'll add some variety. Supposing compilations and series are allowed: E-Z Rollers Presents Drumfunk Hooliganz 2; Bad Company - Book(s) of the Bad (as a collection of all 3); and to keep some minimalism Sunchase - Static Nitro or Sabre - A Wandering Journal.
