Timecode Vinyl Help

I've been mixing now for just under a year on the numark mixtrack pro, i have always wanted to try vinyl but never had a chance untill recently, i went to BPM and saw some timcode vinyl and just fell in love with it straight away but i could not try different decks because would you belive it, they only had one timecode vinyl set up in the whole arena!! basically what set up would i need, am on a budget of around £500- 550 at a push, what would you guys recomend?

second hand serato £200 ish
which sadly leaves you £0 for a mixer.

The reason why you dont see big names use it is because:

a) Timecodes on VDJ are gash.
b) Only 12 year olds and wedding dj's use it
c) see first and second points


Maybe get a pair of Numark 1520's or something, i got a pair for £99 on gumtree like 5 years ago, with a mixer and a load of records. (about 6 months later when i decided vinyl was for me i upgraded to 1210's and never looked back).

Also, if you want to use serato soundcard but dont want to use the software your shit out of luck, its rane specific hardware.

Honestly, vdj isnt suitable for anyone whos serious about mixing.

The above needs to be quoted and put in an expensive frame on a good solid wall for all to see.

It is an expensive hobby. But if you love it you'll be willing to reshape your bank balance accordingly.
