Here's a clip of something i put together for our Roughtempo show on tuesday, after finding a funky little bass sample, I got the urge to chop it up and use it - Throw Back

    All feedback appreciated

I liked the track. All the elements seem to be in place, besides the fact that I'm feeling that the ghost snare isn't too ghost. FOR ME, it kept drawing attention from the other instruments.

Right, taken all comments on board, and updated the clip.. Made the ghost snares a couple of db lower, and layered the main synth so its less lost in the mix now..

Sounding good man, i'ts really catchy! The play with the resonance on the bass sounds great. It adds a nice rise effect.

You got thumbs up from me man! :)

Mixdown and everything sounds good and tight, but the tune's a little too repetitive / jump up'y for my tastes.

Thanks for the feedback mate. I was going for the old school none technical style of dnb from back in the day. Things like 26 bass by Roni size and Follow Da Vision by Krust.
