on a serious note... im gettin UNBELEIVABLY frustrated with my basslines. I'm trying to do that dubstep wobble bullshit but everything i do sounds utter wank. Ive got the sound i want for my b line but all the LFO speed and syncing stuff just sounds fuckin trash. any one got any tips on how to get the synced lfo to actually flow with everything else?

hope at least a bit of that made sense

how to sync it to the bpm? youre in logic right? are you drunk?

but ok, ask muta. his control of the wobble is pretty shaolin.

haha. shaolin...

na i can sync it and everything. its just when i try and automate the speed of the lfo, and automate the bassline it all goes pear shaped :(

so i can make a tune with a semi decent, single speed lfo bassline. but that gets HORRIFICALLY boring after too long. know wa am sayyyyyyin?

If dubstep is what u r doin then having a couple different bass sounds which are variations of eachother is a good technique

bass 1 into bass 2 into bass 1 type of thing (within 4 or 8 bars)

aside from wobbling the crap out of it

Something I've seen (tutorial) and tried, but never really used...was having the lfo rate controlled by mod wheel, giving real time control over the wobbles. If you don't have a midi keyboard or other hardware controller can you map lfo rate to some other paramater and create an automation clip for it?

haha, thanks, But im not all that great =p I just do too much research on shit so I know how it works and can aply it to my own business.

Anyways, If you use massive, I might know some tricks. Not going to explain it all, too much work for me, but instead, ill put down the vids I watched to learn me wobble haha.(which includes all i know about wobbling)
one thing tho if you are using massive which i am for wobbles) STEPSEQUENCER. << it pwns all for automation.
