I know it's not DnB, and a pretty simple sound, but what's a good starting point to making it? I'm trying to learn synthesis

I mean the part that starts at 0:17.

    Thanks.

Dave from boyinaband.com has some really good tutorial videos for Reason, he is an expert.

It all depends on what program or VSTs your want to use/using.

Hi.... I'm Dave, for boy in a band dot com.

haha, I can hear his voice now (makes me laugh every time). It's funny how he says the word dubstep. almost sounds like there 2 P's in it.

Yeah, I can't stand him for one, and my internet isn't fast enough to load videos very well at all.

    Any more tips?

Id say a sine, and either triangle or square wave. with short attack.

I have to agree with that. This was my first thought when I heard it. Its not quite the same, but it has the same detune on the oscillators as that the exceeder preset

    Thanks!
Got an audio example of that? I don't own that synth and can't find an example on the internet without downloading the synth demo (I'm on the worst dial up ever)
