cheers man, i've tryed layering like 8 other kick drums to no avail =/ still working on it tho! only started it today thing is i've used the break before and it sounded fine, so im at a loss atm haha

i like the concept. i can see by looking at the waveform that the really deep long kick is way too loud in the mix. if you turn that down 50% you will be able to turn the whole tune up another 50%.

updated, broken it down a bit more, gone for the less is more approach and used each element more sparingly!

it's like an 808 sub kick. can you not see it in the waveform? twice as loud as everything else.

i can, i dropped the volume and upped the rest of the track as you suggested... ? lol

sounds much better (louder) i love the stutter/chop on the break and your track composition is very good. good work.
