am only new to making D&B
am still not understaning about the basslines should it be in melody?
or can you have a melodic hook?
am unsure ?

There are no rules to make drum and bass so the bassline doesn't have to be the melody.
so you can do whatever you like.
I really like the sound of your bassline, very deep.
The one thing I didn't like was your kick, it sounds a bit too hollow imo.

i like it man, nice bass stabs you have got, sub is strong, as someone said tho ur kick doesnt fit the track, with a solid mixdown this track would be really good mate.!
like what uv done alot, could be cleaned up a bit mixdown wise thats all!
