i dunno why, but the comment ' pretty cool ' made me laff.. it says so much, it shows why not many people have many oppinions on the subject .. its just so large and vast to comprehend, to even begin to get your head around the sheer size, and complexity of .. well, everything .. my comment would of been something along the lines of ' yea thats alrite that ' .. i mean, what is there to say ? .. its unfathomable , what a strange old place it is ... and also, what is in the flash game is what we try to comprehend, what we can mathamatically point at and hazard guesses towards .. you know that they say its ever expanding, so what we see as stupidly vast, may still be a tiny pin prick on the bigger scale .. its 2 much, im gunna watch youporn and make a cheese an onion toastie

Exactly ethix. We can physically see 14 billion light years into space with the technology we have now but the estimated size of the Universe is 93 billion lights years across so there must be something outside of what we can see.

    It boggles the mind.

all peoples best guesses ... still very intresting!

this isn't 100% accurate.. because light can bend in the gravity of space.. and speed up and slow down... so from our point of view it could look millions of light years away.. but cud be just thousands or even billions of light years away..

i think its amazing how these things can't be explained.. (by anyone whos willing to share anywayz)

the biggest question.. is not how big or what is in the universe.. its why is it here.. and how did it get here or wherever it is..??

im confused just thinking about it.

i love it, i find this kinda stuff really interesting, why only last night, over pancakes, we were talking about space, the ISS and other outer world things, saying how fucking scary a 6 hour space walk would be and how bloody awfull it would be if amonia shot out at you to hard and shot you off into space... grim

but this flash thing, very groovy, but it would look loads better if it was not done in paint-esk drawing styles, but then again my flash expertese couldnt do that sliding bar - zoom function

How can they even estimate that?

Its a very intresting subject and one that I took a keen intrest to in physics. I used to think about it way too much. How did the universe get here? The big bang? Ok, how did the atoms/particles that collided get there in the first place then?

At one stage there must have been absolutely nothing and somehow atoms were created, its fascinating, and very confusing?!

your forgetting a fair bit of what we see from the very reaches of our visable space, probably no longer exists and is something completely different or maybe even just nothing :)

thats sick, i didnt know they can even break things down past quarks!!!

im just getting into astronomy myself,

that link is good but it doesnt really show you the scale bcoz everythings the same size in those pictures... its harder to comprehend that way,

this video doesnt show the full size of the universe but it definatly puts our planet into perspective

    enjoy!

the other big questions is... is space curved or straight?

if its curved.. it will come back on itself... so you could fly off in one direction, and eventualy end up back where you were.. if this is soo, then there is an end to 'space' and the universe is some sort of bubble.. and could be one of many bubbles... just one theory.

if its straight, then its infinate.. and infinate things can never be explained... especially by me

if the big bang theory is right.. then their is a center to the universe.. there must be an edge.. which would of been the first things created... iunno..

if the bubble theory is right.. could you get to another bubble through a black hole?? and if the black hole is sucking in one way.. does that mean its pushing things other another way?

is a black hole pushing more stuff into our universe?

was it a backwards black hole that was the 'big bang'..

    :teeth:

why is moskit sexually motivated by fritzl. does he have children? if he did have children.. would they be sexually abused in a makeshift basement..

is the LHC really a giant raping facility for the french and swiss to abuse kids...

maddie are you there.... ivan is asking for u
