Rotate EP pt.2 - Turbine Music

"After the success of the Rotate EP pt.1 we now present our 2nd release in the series and our 003 digital outing for Turbine Music
Featuring 4 artists who we are working very close with at Turbine Music.
Hot on the heels of his first solo EP, Dyl drops Micro. Its heavy kick and unforgiving string invites the droning bass to do its work on the low frequencies. Tight percussion sprinkles giving it more energy on this slung out slab of pure dirt.
Antagonist makes a welcome return to Turbine Music after a slug of releases on other labels. Cult is a straight up tune out of the depths of Manchester, UK. Its eerie approach and little scathes and scratches opens it up into a monster bass, shuffles and snippets. Switching Between filtered processed amens and fierce hi hats which keeps the suspense at breaking point. A tune to be played in dark warehouses that only expect dark music and matching personnel.
Acid Lab drops his second release on the Rotate series and steps it up a level with this “golden era” inspired drum workout. Building slowly with a brooding and sustaining mentality it brings in the Photek influenced bass before opening it to a drop of stepping, sonically charged breakbeats. Absolute zero let up with the edits that maintain a groove and doesn’t take away from what’s already gone before it. Little Dark vocals sit perfectly above the basic bass template with out interrupting the flow at all. A tune that reminds us of yesteryear but giving it a 21st century feel.
nScape makes his debut at Turbine Music with No One Here. A tune that fits our ethos, with its sinister strings and breathed fx’s, little nods to the old skool with shuffles straight out of a mid 90s bukem set. A deep sine bass that has sublte modulation’s running through it. A lashing of snares keeping the energy at maximum levels and mid range stabs offering itself to proceedings keeps the interest alive. A great first tune from nScape for Turbine Music.
The Rotate EP pt.2 – Out on Monday 8th July, Available from all good online stores"
