The Reverb Thread

Sort of related: One of my new favorite things to do is side chain my reverb. Very useful when you're trying to fill a sound (like a stab for example) out without sacrificing its transient punch or overall presence. Can use on one track or on a bus or things depending on your arrangement. Typical hi-pass filter stuff still applies.

Yep same here. I like adding a touch of reverb to my mid bass sounds, then sidechaining with the original signal. The mids retain clarity, then there's a nice tail that fills up the space.
