We're entering autumn here in the UK, with winter fast approaching. The evenings are getting dark, cold and moody, just like podcast 21 brought to you by Ninjoh from Bologna!
Ninjoh has always been a music lover, he spent several years browsing the sounds of detroit techno, hip hop, dub, reggae, french house, trip hop, breakbeat and EDM until he found drum & bass which represents the union of all his musical influences.
Ninjoh is a member of Bologna Underground Movement which is a local crew that promotes the underground culture in Bologna, organising events focused on bass music. His crew is called Plasma FX, founded in September 2012 by a group of young creative minds with the same passion for bass music and more. Due to this Ninjoh had the possibility to perform at events alongside Noisia, Aphrodite, Dj Hype, Mefjus, Chase & Status, Malsum, Allied, Dub FX, Fable, D-Operatio Drop, Am
and many more local artists.Also Ninjoh, along with his friend, Luca Genovese who is a digital visual artist, as well as a devout music lover, is the founder and manager of the Bolo Drum & Bass page on Facebook. Bolo Drum & Bass is dedicated to promoting and spreading the drum & bass culture, nationally and internationally, with a special consideration for the underground movement of Bologna's scene. Thanks to this project he is contributing musical knowledge to the followers of the page, which is still rising.
Love, dedication and passion for music is his daily bread.
