Hi alltogether!

I have a serious problem with creating a good flowing bassline !

I use reason 3.0 and yet i use nn19(bassline mid high sounds) and subtractor for the deep sub bass!

but i never get the right way ... mhm not the right melody in connection with my beat
so it sounds full and wappi!

what shall i do ?

which samples and patches should i use ? i saw the tutorial of simon V however this isnt really a true tutorial ! its a promotion of his track !

hm , plz post your comments on this problem iam realtiv new! to producing

im listning to d&b for 5-6 years now... i have background! :)

regards led!

p.s. bad english

I think that skylove is right. Maybe it's just a mather of creativity.... Also try to make a bassline before you make the beat and stuff... Sometimes that helps!

I try not to keep my bass lines simple, for that bouncin effect try stabbing the bass lines along the same pattern as your bass drums, throw in some different sub lows in the back ground overlade with some atmospheric sounds,, if your running a sampler, midi interface etc, think about getting a bass pedal,,,

put the envelope filter on your bass sound, then create a matrix to run it. then randomize the matrix. and adjust the envelope filter to taste.

makes a wiked moving bass sound. works on anything.
