This is sounding pretty neat; I like your drum patterns so far and the sub bass is thick enough. The beat itself is really nice and well done, and makes me think of older neurofunk.
I don't think the actual vocal sample is working, tho. Could maybe also use another percussion to ride on top of the shakers freq-wise fit along with the groove, and maybe a bit more activity on w/ the bass's mids (you'd have the room in the composition for that if you cut the vocal sample, just my opinion).
Like I said tho, really nice old school-flavored neurofunk here. Keep up with the good work.
