xmas is soooo gay! it'd be ok if it started on xmas eve and finished on boxing day but it doesn't. good excuse to get a bit messy tho, it's the only time of the year that you can get away with drinking for 3 days without anyone even batting an eyelid!

what dont you like about it?

i know all the commercial bullshit can get a bit much sometimes, but im always garunteed a good day! no one is ever in a bad mood, everyone is nice to each other, its a great chance to catch up with my older siblings who i dont see very often, lots of food, booze, etc etc.

    i just cant fault it.:zest:

I hate Xmas shopping unless you know what you need to get, and you don't ever know what to get! Pah!

yeah, you're right and although i can't put my finger on it, there's just something about the whole thing that really gets on my nerves. To me it's just another bank holiday/opportunity to get battered. hopefully i'll go to another chrimbo squat party again this year, that'll be fun!

I am really jealous. I believe you were complaining a while ago about how your area lacks shows, i'd beg to differ.

Your new years party should be worth the wait. Plus that good vibes festival looks real sick.

I love the NYE, I have just recently recovered from my hatred of Christmas. The last time my family was together was on Xmas day 97, so it took me a long time to get over that. Its a very fucked time of the year for people who are lonely or depressed or have family problems. I was all of these on Xmas for about 6 years.
Now I deal with it, but dont exactly look forward to it.

    /end gut-spill transmission.
