Ladies and Gentlemen…. Eclectricity are proud to present the weird and wonderful world of the ELECTRIC CARNIVAL…. Following the recent “Electric City” series of events in Autumn 2009 which attracted 12,000 people over an 8 week period and 6 sell out Eclectricity Boutique Festival events over the last 3 years each attracting upto 4,000 people across the entire Custard Factory Complex…. We are proud to showcase the Eclectricity festival experience taken to another level as we claim the streets of Digbeth for an Inner City Carnival of epic proportions…..

This time, we are sealing off half of Digbeth!....The Entire Custard Factory Arts & Media Complex will be utilised in conjunction with Air Superclub as well as the quirky Rainbow Venues to make for 15 rooms of action packed shenanigans and a capacity of over 9,000!!

An inner city musical playground utilising the many wonderful spaces and stunning architecture that can be found in Digbeth’s prime alternative entertainment district!!

▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀
THE ELECTRIC CARNIVAL SITE
Located slap bang in the middle of Digbeth in the heart of Birmingham’s Independent Quarter, the Electric Carnival entrance will be on Heath Mill Lane off Digbeth High Street, (2 miles from the Bull Ring Shopping centre in Birmingham). Heath Mill Lane will be shut off from the general public as well as the adjoining Lower Trinity St, Gibb St, Adderley Street and Bromley St to make way for an inner city myriad of music and hedonistic partying using the best spaces these stunning and unique venues have to offer!

The Electric Carnival will encompass the following mind blowing locations: -

• 1 x Outdoor Festival Mainstage (The grand debut of the recently licensed Digbeth Carpark Space)
• 4 x Marquee Structures
• 2 x Industrial Warehouse Spaces
• 2 x Man Made Lake Installations
• 1 x State of the art Super Club (1,500 capacity across 3 rooms)
• 18th Century Victorian Pub
• Victorian Pub Terrace
• Garden Terrace Space
• An Art Gallery
• 17th Century Listed Chapel
• A Cinema / Theatre
• Two sets of Railway Arches
• 4 x Public Highways shut off from the public!
• Too many other unique spaces to list!!......

This includes the grand debut of the Digbeth Heath Mill Lane Carpark space used in a way that has never been seen before… A festival standard mainstage structure will be placed in this unique and industrial space…. Expect the whole of Digbeth to come alive as the Electric Carnival takes to the streets for this one off experience!

All of the above will be kitted out with state of the art visual and sound technology and the highest level of facilities and amenities to ensure a comfortable and professionally organised night out in the way that only Eclectricity do things…. Accept no cheap imitations…. This is the real deal!
