Here's a heavy break at 175 for doing Limewax/Current Value-esque Skullstep stuff.
you can't slice these up because you'd loose all the punchyness in the drums. Already tried myself tons of times, and it always happens the same.
One of the infinite options to evade that problem is, with these same samples, create a common 4/4 pattern, then turning it into hard and rough, everything will become even clearer than that!
There is a break i've been looking for for quite some time now. I think it's very standard and well-known, and I think i've heard it in many tracks. Maybe it's the one used in eg. Loefah - Root
It's especially the rimshot that i find recognizable. I'm not shure but i think it's same break used in a lot of tracks, fx. by Icicle, Calyx and others. Maybe it has even been posted here already, but somehow I haven't found it. Does anyone know this one?
