The break that practically formed drum & bass/jungle...if you havent heard of it please do yourself a big favour and watch this video The Explanation of The Amen Break. Tip, dont use a raw amen break in your track, high pass, low pass, add effects, the possibilities are endless, plus you can layer them over other breaks and compress them.

The raw break sounds good too IMO. It can be a bit used up tho.

I use amens all the time, mostly as backbeats to fill the drum pattern out a bit !
