Terabyte Records proudly present their newest addition to the label’s signings,
Automate. This really is an artist to watch out for in the future, and his
debute releases provides an intellectual mixture of minimal sounds, hard hitting
drum beats and serious bass.
The A-Side, Hot in the Slot, perfectly combines a droning, sine-wave based,
old-skool throwback bass line with cheeky, funky drum patterns. Fans of all
styles of drum and bass, from jump up to minimal will connect with this - a
tune set to tear up systems and dance floors everywhere.
Low, the B-Side, is a very interesting track, blending intensely pleasing harmonies
with subtle percussive elements but the drums are hard enough to
complement much darker styles in the mix. This tune is for the steppers,
half-step style drum and bass is all the rage in the present DnB community
and Low really hits the mark.
One for the ravers and for the DJs, TB003 will be hitting all the big electronic
music stores on 10th December; watch this space!
