Suggestions for bedroom speakers

if their just for mixing, you can use anything tbh

no need to spend 400+ on a pair of reference monitors if all your doing is mixing records... its a waste really

obviously, dont get anything tooo shabby, sound quality is always important

do they have to be actives or do you have an amp you can use??

my old mixing setup consisted of an old technics amp alongside around 10 mix n match 2nd hand speakers... aside from the amp, it cost me nothing... diddnt sound too bad either :teeth:

I bought some Alesis M1 active 520 speakers for my bedroom, they look nice and sound really good, very clear and crisp. Have EQs and gain on the back too

These???

Or failing that I use a set of numark M80.. Although I have the bass cut on them and linked in with a sub.

If you can get the M1 active Mk2s then do it, may be alot of money up front but theyre fucking solid.

Behringer truths never did me any harm, sound crisp and oomfy, got myself a pair of b2031a's for dirt cheap as they were the display models.
Get the next size down and make a deal for the display models in your local sound store.
you can get a bargain.
