I've been doing my research and I think I know what I want/need to get but any suggestions/advice would help.

    I have-
    2 Vestax Turntables
    Rane TTM 57SL with serato
    a decent PC

I want to be able to record my turntables into my compiuter (for Ableton live I'm thinkin) and I'm not sure which audio interface to get. I was thinking about the Audio Kontrol 1 http://www.native-instruments.com/#/en/products/producer/audio-kontrol-1/ but I'm not really sure.

Also, I purchased the Akai MPK49 http://www.akaipro.com/mpk49 but am returning it because I think the drum pads are a little too stiff. I am leaning towards the M-Audio Axiom 49 http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/Axiom49.html

My budget is around $300 for each.

Any feedback/suggestions are much appreciated. Cheers!

the axiom is great, but if its drum pads you want the trigger is more smarter.
to record your turntables you neednt buy anything at all, your current soundcard should do just fine
