Subs in Cubase

    Hi guys, what vst's / plug in's do you use to make your subs....Are the built in VST's any good?

    A sub is just a sine wave, any synth will do the job to be honest.

    I just use the same synth as I do my midbass in and just duplicate it and replace the waveforms to just a sine and keep the filters on to have the movement follow in the sub. However when you use BP filters and such, be sure that the lower freqs still come trough!

    yeah any sine wave.. but play with the amp envelope as some synths give a nasty "pop" on the attack or release if either are too low.

    This, it sounds very huge and warm, for a vst!
