Explore some short delays, chorus etc as well. You'll get some pretty interesting results.

Thanks guys, I've just had a bash at this and it was pretty straightforward, I just made sure to high pass the kick before adding the reverb and then low passed the result.

I could then either leave the attack transient of the kick in if I wanted the sound from the Rockwell tune or remove it, if I just want the reverb 'rumble' like in the Stray tune.

slap some plugins on the verb channel too for added depth and creativity also go a step further than your inspiration imo
