Sub frequencys question

On my g35 i've noticed that my sub starts to generate crackling sounds as i pull it up in the mix, small cuts in the sub reduces it a little but can still hear it.

Is there a "danger" frequency you should watch out for on the sub? Or is it just that g35 sucks ass.
 
i don't know. but it might be high frequencies on your original sound. sometimes when I'm creating synth sub bass i will lowpass it to avoid a crackling noise.

Most of the crackling sound is comming from the right ear so i think its my headset that's the issue. But seeing as a lot of sound systems have Bass boosts do you usually consider some level of how high your low can go or is it just bombs ahead
