To be frank, I may fall into that category.

If you dislike the majority of what's being released and the direction the genre seems to be going, does it make you a hater?

For me thing began to go downhill in 2003... Obviously there are still artists and labels I love, and I'll never stop listening to DNB, I may just have to regress back to the golden age...

not at all.......i must admit i dont like THAT MUCH of what is currently bein released, but i get on wit hmy life....... instead of spreading the hate.

No one else noticed that this forum has dried up? many people have left due to various reasons, but hardly any new people have joined and posted regular because they get hounded for asking noob questions.

Everyone on here like DnB apart from Brofski. He just stays around for Fran.

On a sidenote I dont think about anything other than DnB so yeh, I like it.

The love went along with the illegal parties and cheap drugs, it's this fucking country man. We're living in some twisted post-rave wasteland inhabited by dubstep zombies and cunts.

    God damnit I hate dubstep.

I love it just as much now as I did years ago. I think as it's become more popular it has been saturated by so many artists that sometimes you have to sort through a lot of crap to get to tracks that you like...

But that doesn't mean there still isn't a big amount of amazing music coming from very talented people.

I still find myself hearing new tracks sometimes and thinking wow, they couldn't possibly do better than that... and then they do!

    It's all good!

Of course everyone on here likes dnb, but its a forum, its for expressing your views whether they are possitive or negative.

An yeah the posts have started to dry, but imo the forums gone downhill so thats probly why.

i was about to express the same opinion, albeit far more bluntly and rudly, and everyone would be calling me an old purist hater. now you dont have to. (y)

i love dnb, its one of the most if not the most versatile genres of music about.
u can listen to something that sounds like a jazz man jumping on the amen train
or somthing that sounds like a mad man attacking puppies with a chainsaw.
    its each to thier own.
but some people only like a certain style and want to express their hate for the rest. fair do's, ur entitled to ur views and thats what a forum is about right? but u can express them without being dis respectfull! its all dnb at the end of the day.

as for the forum going downhill? i cant really comment, i aint been on here very long, but i've enjoyed it enough to stay!

It seems to be the way of all forums tbh with the advent of facebook and myspace and other things people tend to stay off the forums. people assume they're something long associated with geekiness etc, not a place to actually find out about things. 99% of people aren't going to try and have a conversation about something when they can look on a myspace.

    True shame.

I'd say thats my view in a nut shell. no matter what there will always be haters withni genres, noobs will get burnt for stupid posts, discrimination will continue.. It just the forum life.
