Studio Monitors???

I own a pair of alesis m1active 520s at the minute but a friend borrowed them and has blown the tweeters!

I am trying to choose a new pair, strictly for production use only, cannot make my mind up!

Looking to spend around £400, any recommendations?

Buy the ones with the circular cones powered by a electromagnet they produce sound waves if they move back and forth.

Depends what your after! If you need them capable of better bass then go for the Yamaha HS80's, if some 5" cones would do you the Equator Audio D5's are well worth a look.
