Street Knowledge - A New Chapter In Scottish Drum & Bass
Street Knowledge, Scotland’s newest Drum & Bass event returns after our Drum & Bass Legends Part 1 event with yet another quality show you just don’t want to miss.
Stepping away from the harder edged sound of DNB for this event it give’s us great pleasure to welcome not one but two of the scene’s deeper more soulful DJ’s to the capital for a mystical journey.
A man who needs no introduction is Marcus Intalex who is regarded by many as one of the heavy weights in a sound which he pioneers alongside Calibre. Not only is he one of the most technical DJ’s in industry he is also head honcho of the highly influential label Soul R so expect some seriously deep vibes from this guy.
We are also immensely proud to welcome one of Hospital Records finest protégés, Nu Tone, to play exclusively for us. Last years Back Of Beyond album was by far one the best albums of 2007 with many DJ’s still dropping tracks from it. With his current project; Future Sound of Cambridge Volume 3 alongside his brother Logistics and Commix currently doing serious damage this set should feature nothing but back 2 back gems.
Warming things up, and making his debut appearance at Street Knowledge, is none other than G Mac, a name that has resonated throughout the Scottish Drum & Bass scene for many years.
After his memorable performance at our launch night back in May of this year were proud to welcome back MC Darrison to take control of the m.i.c. so expect the usual high octane vocals and jokes from this lyrical master of ceremonies.
