streaming using serato sl3 on a mac

    i asked this question on dubstep forum but just got a link to nicecast. I am completely clueless when it comes to streaming. is their anyway to stream just using that program from serato or do i need extra wires and such to connect to my imac. it did broadcast but through my microphone and was very muffled. please help me guys would be so much appreciated

    you need a line out from the mixer and into your imac i think, ie an rca to aux cable - same as you would do to record a mix, then you just have to configure the settings to whatever programme/website you using to stream with

    when i record a mix with sl3 it has all my line outs towards the auxiliary on serato and i record from their but would i also take the other aux cables and get the cable thats rca to aux from the box or mixer?
