The man is a fucking hero.
One of my favourite videos of all time:
stephen fry... absolute badman!
that was brilliant. wonder what their reply was
There are responses in the related videos, I think it was a 2 hour debate, with Stephen Fry and Christopher Hitchins arguing against the Catholic Church, and Anne Widdicombe and 2 others for it.
cant watch their reply. cant stand the sight of those two witch doctors talking at all. who won? is catholicism abolished yet
The Motion: The Catholic Church is a force for good.
Before the Debate:
After the Debate:
Gives you a little faith in humanity
but so then what is not seeing as like where gone to?
I'm with the sentiment & the facts, i'm not religious in anyway & don't agree with the "moral values" & "carrying ons" of the Catholic Church, I also believe Stephen Fry to be a bonafide G.
But does it really give you faith in humanity?
It does the oppsite for me...
"Man on telly has good points - Now I change my beliefs."
True, but considering it's Stephen Fry I can let them off.
Also, the fact that the starting percentage was a lot higher against the motion is a good thing in my opinion.
im happy to hear that and everything but does it change the churchs deathgrip on said countries does it make any difference at all? no it doesnt so big up stephen fry and big up youtube we can discuss this forever but it wont affect reality. i think and it makes me cynical.
