Stand Alone Spectrum Analyser - recomendations?

Any recomendations for audio analyser software - non vst?
what are other reason users using?

is there a cut down version for just audio analysing?
Wavelab elements - cant really tell from their website if this will allow me to just monitor frequencies.

Yes its a vst, why do you need a stand alone though?

i got one at the moment but its a bit shaft - wanted to know what other were using

sorry m8 but thats only good advice for sound engineers and people with great hearing.

also that other tutorial video from a big name that was in a thread here the other week said exactly the opposite of that.

Wavelab - you cant download a demo without getting some USB dongle crap thing
Any other programs?
